One can see some very odd things when travelling. In 2008 I was touring Kangaroo Island off the coast of South Australia when, near Vivonne Bay we encountered this odd collection of junk. At least, we initially thought it was an odd collection of junk. It turns out that it is, rather, a unique collection of mail boxes made from recycled junk!
This photo was taken with a Nikon D40X at ISO 400 using a Nikkor 55-200mm Zoome at 55mm and f/5. It was processed from RAW format in Aperture 3.2.2 and adjusted for colour balance and exposure, then further processed using onOne’s Photo Effects to give it a vintage, crumpled paper texture. If you get a chance, you should try out some of onOne’s software products. I have been using them more frequently and really like what they can add.
